I came across Tall Tails Studio on social media. I follow quite a few rescue groups and Chantal is donating money from every Christmas shoot to Canine Haven Rescue, which I think is wonderful. When I initially booked I was going to do just a Christmas shoot with my two Australian Cattle Dogs, but as I looked at her work I realized I wanted to do a longer shoot with different background colors. Chantal was amazing with all my emails asking to change the original plans. I ended up doing the white and black background as well as the Christmas photos, and I am soooo glad I did, the photos are absolutely stunning. I've been sharing them with my vets and everyone :D The whole experience was 10/10... my boys can be monkeys, and Chantal worked amazing with them. My husband and I had the best time just watching her do what she is amazing at and our boys loving all the treats and attention.

THIS EXPERIENCE WAS EPIC!!! Start to finish I was completely impressed and blown away by Chantal’s talent and professionalism. From the beginning she made me feel comfortable and safe. Since I found her business through Google and she was a stranger to me I didn’t really know what to expect. But soon as we got in touch she was unbelievably kind. She worked with me to nail down a shot list, created a package that fit my photo needs and was flexible finding a date and time. When we arrived the studio space was perfectly set up for a dog. She immediately allowed my Lab Tucker to roam off leash and check everything out bringing down his anxiety level. She used a mix of peanut butter, liver treats and a squeaky toy to really get the best shots of him. Once he was relaxed in front of the camera we were even able to use some of the provided props! I really appreciated that she worked at Tuckers speed, never forcing him into a position and allowing him to have breaks. She prioritized Tucker and making sure he was enjoying himself the entire time! Chantal went the extra mile and really paid attention to those little details. From making sure the outside lights were on when we arrived to allowing us to see the photos as they were taken to highlight our favourites. We already have our second session booked with her for our new puppy Daisy! I highly recommend that if you want AMAZING photos of your dog to go to an expert like Chantal!

Chantal is a natural with the furbabies. I had a memorial/tribute photo shoot where she demonstrated sensitivity and kindness to me and my dog. During the whole session, my dog was respected and accommodated for his physical challenges. She allowed him to get comfortable and did not rush him. Chantal captured the youthfulness of my dog which felt missing for a while now. I am so happy with the images she captured which definitely honors my dog's memory. Thank you, Chantal.

I had an amazing time! I booked the mini Christmas photoshoot for my three corgipoos. As soon as we met Chantal we felt welcome. The whole experience was both professional and fun. I found Chantal on FB and I was excited to bring my Sadie for our first ever, dog pictures. Sadie loved Chantal right away and had a fun- fulled 45 min photo session in her home. You can tell that she loves what she does! I drove from north of Belleville and it was well worth the 1.5 hr trip. Sadie's photos are amazing. Now the tough part will be picking which ones we love the most 😊 Highly reccomend!

We had such a fun time at the photoshoot! Chantal was very professional, and well prepared for the session with my 2 babies... tons of treats, toys and props for the photoshoot. The photos turned out really well that I had to get them in poster size! Chantal was also very accommodating with my requests, quick turn around time and very responsive. We were searching for fun, cute pictures of our furry family members and came across Chantal on social media. Our photography session was fantastic! From the beginning, Chantal was professional and helpful in providing information, pricing, and guidance on what to expect. Her studio was clean and inviting - all COVID protocols were followed. Once in studio with our 2 dogs, we had one very outgoing and one very nervous subject - but this did not throw Chantal off in the slightest! Our friend referred us to Chantal after we saw how amazing the photos of their dog was. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we got to her in-home studio but needless to say any hesitation I may have had prior to going over completely diminished as soon as I saw how incredible she was with the dog. Chantal followed all COVID protocols while still making it a welcoming experience. She was professional, kind, and incredible with our dog Bailey. She gets as interactive as she possibly can when taking photos while still ensuring the dog has an absolute blast. The photos were edited quickly and turned out better than I imagined. We couldn't be happier with the photography and service Chantal provided. Right when you walk in, she makes you and your pet feel welcome. Both of our dog's needs were met (we have a senior dog that required some help and a puppy who needed constant attention). She has truly captured our dogs personalities in each and every photo. Chantal is amazing. We were able to book an apt with her within a week of contacting her. She is very responsive and accommodating, we booked our 8 month old kitten for his first ever photo shoot. The studio is set up so as she is taking the shots you can enjoy them on screen. Her passion for pets is evident in her patience and care. She made sure that the area was safe and that there was no danger for our little one with the photography equipment. Chantal went above and beyond with the best props and treats and toys to lure our sweet kitten. We are blown away and we cannot wait for the photos to become available. It is going to be tough to choose our favourites from the over 350 shots. We will look forward to bringing our kitten for holiday shots as he will be an adult by then and our pups will also enjoy their own session as well. We highly recommend Chantal.
